Production Process

We bring matured coconut for our production directly from the coconut lands in the Southern area.
- Coconuts are selected one by one before taking into production by inspecting the outer appearance of the coconuts.
- Then the coconut shells are removed carefully to separate the inner coconut kernel bowl from the shell.
- The coconut kernel bowl passed through a tube to the wet area of the factory. In the wet area, inside the factory, the coconut bowl is cut into two pieces, and at the same time, the coconut water inside the bowl is collected to a stainless-steel container. (in the Virgin coconut oil production process, the outer brown color skin of the coconut kernel is removed before splitting the coconut bowl).
- The splited coconut kernels are inspected again one by one for quality and evert piece of coconut kernels that are not fitted for production is removed in this stage.
- The selected kernels are washed two times in a stainless-steel bath to remove impurities on the outer surface of the kernels.
- After washing the kernel pieces are passed to a stainless-steel conveyor and cutter to obtain tiny coconut pieces for drying.
- The tiny coconut pieces are spread in a stainless-steel tray to feed in the dryer.
- The Coconut Life International (Pvt) Ltd uses a heat pump dryer to dehydrate coconut. The drying temperature will not exceed 600C in the entire drying cycle. The moisture level is reduced below 3% level in the drying cycle.
- The dehydrated coconuts are expelled in specially designed coconut oil expellers to get virgin coconut oil. Then the oil passes through a filtering process before storing and packing.
- The filtered oil is stored in stainless steel tanks for bottling.
The final product of the Coconut Life International (Pvt) Ltd is packed in 1liter and 500 milliliter food-graded bottles and sold under the name “K-Arhtour” ensuring the quality of every oil drop inside the bottles.
